The company MILLDOL ® was set up in 1995. It is specialized in construction and management of Salt Therapy Centers which are unique in our country as well as in Europe.
From the beginning of our activity we decided that our mission is to help the people by keeping of health and recovering. We realize our purpose by using of natural medicine, healing power of salt – referring to statement of Hypocrates :”the doctor cures, the nature heals …”.
All the time we got experiences, learned to be professional, raised the quality of our business standards as well as service of our clients and patients.
The expanding of the subject and steadily growing popularity of our Salt Caves caused the setting up of new companies which offer the construction of similar objects. Unfortunately they don’t satisfy the proper standards because only the covering of walls with salt elements doesn’t warrant the keeping of microclimate which supports the curing. The above mentioned objects can be qualified as salt caves with relaxation profile. Such an opinion we received on base of researches and cooperation with national and international authorities as well as scientific and research institutions as: Plant of Health Resort’s Raw Materials in Poznan – dr. Teresa Latour, Scientific and Research Clinic Center of Respiratory System in Sankt-Petersburg – dr. M.S.Czerwinskaja, Institute of Pulmonology of Ministry of Health in Russian Federation -- I.D. Apulcyna, The State University of Medicine in St. Petersburg – prof M.S. Pluzhnikow.
From the beginning of our activities we were aware of the idea and sense for existence of salt caves which support the curing and conventional prophylactic and furthermore the relaxation function. Thereby the following development our company must have been strictly connected with the creation of a proper medicinal and rehabilitating micro climate in our salt caves . In other words it was necessary to obtain so called medical factors – amounts of chloride and amounts of micro and macro elements which could be similar to medical factors from accepted curing microclimates (sea side micro climate, micro climate of saline areas, the microclimate in underground salt mines – Wieliczka and Bochnia).
The company MILLDOL ® as the first company in Poland ordered the verification of properties of micro climate in chambers referring to eventual medicinal qualities. The result of verification fulfilled by the State Plant of Hygiene of Health Resort’s Raw Materials were for us still not satisfying.
In order to increase considerably the concentration of dry salt aerosol and microelements containing in the aerosol we introduced in Poland the first medical device called generator.
The usage of the medical device became a decisive point in the branch of salt caves. There was achieved the multiply higher concentration of salt aerosol than in the traditionally constructed grottos covered only with salt elements. The recent tests of size of micro particles showed that the 80-90% of particles size within 1 to 5 microns. It means that the salt aerosol produced by the generator penetrates deeply into respiratory tract and gives excellent curing effects. Owing to the fact we proved that our objects possess so called medical factors, thereby they became curing and rehabilitating.
Unfortunately the activity of the most salt caves in our country has nothing common with medicinal and rehabilitating activities but this activity is only of relaxations profile. The owners of such objects very often give their clients false information and thereby they misinform consciously. .Such information is being contained in folders, leaflets, adverts in media or verbal transmission of information by staff. Referring to the existence of the micro climate which to obtain is practically impossible without the above mentioned medical device – generator, comparing the micro climate of salt caves with one of sea side which to obtain is impossible under man-made conditions, the racing by invention of more and more new diseases or illnesses which are ostensibly cured in salt caves, put in a bad light the whole branch of salt caves.
In connection with the harmful activity of above mentioned dishonest competition there can be observed a distance to the salt caves’ branch from a part of medical and scientific milieu as well as a part of the more and more conscious society and media (at first the press). This is unusually harming for our activities and mission of our company “MILLDOL” ® as well as for our professionalism. All the more considerable funds are being invested in researches, we improve and introduce new medical and technical solutions as well.
As a consequence after obtaining of by us mentioned curing factors as well as after devaluation of the concept “salt cave” we decided to reform our branch offices into Professional Salt Therapy Centers MILLDOL ®. The systematical 45-minutes treatments in Professional Salt Therapy Centers MILLDOL ® are prophylactic, curing and rehabilitating for:

- cardiac and vessels diseases
